ABOUT ME
I am based in the West Midlands and have a BA (Hons) in German as well as postgraduate qualifications in both translation and education. I am a Chartered Linguist and, as a registered Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists, I abide by their Code of Conduct.
PRICES
My fees depend on the difficulty of the translation.
I work with Microsoft Office, SDL Trados Studio and memoQ. Translations will generally cost between £80 and £100 per thousand words of German and are subject to a minimum fee of £25. I charge £28 per hour for proofreading.
However, translations from PDF documents (certificates or extracts from commercial registers etc.) will be charged according to the number of words in the target language (English), plus a small surcharge for the additional formatting required.
